The Collection System Committee is a steward of the environment protecting and enhancing the quality of life through collaboration among local environmental professionals and the Arizona public on the following.
- Promote effective practices and policies in management, design, construction, operations and maintenance.
- Promote comprehensive water quality solutions including addressing issues related to overflows.
- Support scientifically sound and environmentally-friendly regulatory policies by providing technical assistance and serving as advisors to policy makers.
- Advance the industry through recruiting, mentoring, and developing collection system professionals.
- Educate collection system professionals (operators, consultants and manufacturer representatives) on industry issues.
- Identify and acknowledge effective tools, emerging technologies, and work products.
- Promote partnerships with related organizations.
- Provide a forum for collection system issues.
