Construction and Safety Committee


Improve the entire project delivery experience for local professionals involved in the construction of water and wastewater facilities through education and training.



The Committee will provide education and training to members, and the larger water and wastewater community, to improve the project delivery experience for water and wastewater facilities. The committee will help membership develop a better understanding of construction processes and procedures in the preconstruction, construction, and start-up phases of projects.

The decision to add the award to the 2018 program was unanimously approved. To be considered, all you have to do is submit brief abstract on your proposed presentation topic. Abstracts that are well thought out and pertinent to one of the identified categories will have the best likelihood of being accepted. Abstracts Due: November 3rd, 2017 Read through instructions, and submit below. For QUESTIONS, please contact, Subject: AZ Water 2018 Annual Conference Abstract. GENERAL INFORMATION, FORM INSTRUCTIONS and SELECTION CRITERIA GENERAL INFORMATION •Please limit submissions to one abstract for each primary author. If a single primary author is found to have more than one selected abstract, the author will be asked to provide a secondary primary author - or the presentation may removed from the program. •Do NOT duplicate submissions. You will receive a confirmation after submission. •Do NOT Wait for the abstract deadline to submit abstracts. This deadline will not be extended, and exceptions may not be accommodated. Complete your submission significantly prior to the deadline if possible. Submit early to avoid traffic at the deadline which may cause errors that prevent successful abstract submission. •Provide all required information. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk(*). •Comply with size limitations. Submission fields are character limited. •Omit graphics, attachments, or other additional information. The online submission form only accepts text. Graphics or attachments will NOT be considered. •Review submission confirmation message. This years theme focused on a Salute to members of the armed services. AZ water is proud to honor the members of our association committed to our nation and the comunities we serve.
