To combat eutrophication, some Water Resource Recovery Facilities (WWRFs) are required to meet extremely low concentrations of nutrients in their final effluent.

Conventional nitrification and denitrification treatment at WWRFs may not produce low enough effluent total nitrogen (TN) concentrations to satisfy discharge permit requirements.

Such facilities may need to consider expensive advance treatment for the dissolved organic nitrogen (DON) fraction of the effluent.

This webinar will present a study where several DON removal treatment options were evaluated at a WRRF to meet a low TN limit of less than 2.0 mg/L.

The study was based on available literature, bench-scale, and pilot-scale studies performed.

One PDH will be awarded for attending this event.

Attendance is limited to the first 100 registrants. Please note that multiple users can share a single registration if the webinar is to be displayed on a large format screen at your site.
