What is it?

Self-paced, online training courses available 24/7 with automatic completion certificates. Online and mobile-friendly through azwater.org. Not an app. The initial launch will offer several courses as a starting point, with much more to be added based on the interests and feedback from members.

Who is it for?

Anyone looking to learn more about water and wastewater professions and topics. Introduction courses are geared for a wide audience. Career-seekers, experienced professionals, you name it!

What courses will it offer?

The initial launch of the platform will include several courses (each course in 90 minutes to 2 hours in length), with many more courses planned to be added to the platform in the future on a regular basis. If there is a type of course you are interested in that is not yet available, stay tuned as the intent is to continue developing courses covering most types of professions in the water industry, and to add more advanced courses on topics based on member interest.

Will I be able to obtain PDHs?

Certificates documenting the Hours completed will be automatically issued by the training platform upon completion of courses

How much will it cost to take a course?

Most course offerings will be a free to AZ Water Members. Non-members can register for courses for $20/course. Future courses may have fees for premium content.

How is this different from other online courses or videos?

Courses on AZ Water WELL are developed by Subject Matter Experts from a variety of backgrounds and organizations and offer the perspective of water professionals in Arizona. The course content is reviewed by AZ Water's volunteers and committees and is intended to provide information useful to water professionals in Arizona at varying stages of their career. Many of the course instructors may be people that you might work with or interact with during your water career.
